What is the recommended regimen?

Does LED light therapy really work?
Yes. Both technologies in HANITA SCULPT have been tested in controlled trials. A randomised controlled trial of a neuromuscular electrical stimulation device for facial muscle toning was published in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology in 2012 (Kavanagh S, Newell J, Hennessy M, Sadick N, volume 11, pages 261 to 266), and a controlled trial of red light treatment for fine lines, skin roughness and collagen density was published in Photomedicine and Laser Surgery in 2014 (Wunsch A, Matuschka K, volume 32, pages 93 to 100). It is worth knowing that not all devices perform the same: the published work is specific about wavelength, output and consistency of use, and some brands have no studies behind them at all. That is why our protocol is modest and specific, and why we would rather you kept to it.
Can I use my normal moisturiser before the device?
Yes. Make sure the skin is clean and dry before you begin.
Are there any side effects?
The device uses LED wavelengths, not ultraviolet light, so there is no UV exposure and no risk of burning from the light. It is non-invasive, needs no recovery time and is suitable for regular use. Keep to the recommended regimen — five to ten minutes a session, five to seven times a week — and do not use it more often than instructed, to avoid irritating or overstimulating the skin.
Is there anyone who should not use it?
Please do not use HANITA SCULPT if you are pregnant or breastfeeding; have a pacemaker, defibrillator or any implanted electrical device; have epilepsy; have active skin cancer or any undiagnosed lesion in the treatment area; have recently had injectables, laser treatment or a peel; or take medication that causes photosensitivity.
